Botox or Fillers? Whats the differences?

PROCEDURE: Botulinum Toxin aka Botox
Read about this procedure

Dr. Shady Hayek explains that both botox and dermal fillers are used for facial rejuvenation. There are various differences between the two, each used for different requirements of the face.

These are used to combat two types of wrinkles. One caused by hyper activity of facial muscles, and the other from fat atrophy or changes in the position of the fat compartments.

Botox – is a neuromodulator which weakens the muscles preventing wrinkles.
Dermal fillers: replace the fat that has atrophied or fill in the fat compartments and raise them back to there original size.
