If you are already on a healthy lifestyle journey, but need a little boost to get rid of stubborn fat, you can certainly benefit from body contouring. There are various non-invasive technologies now being used to sculpt the body including Coolsculpting, Exilis, and Vanquish. But which is better, and which body contouring procedure has the fastest results.
CoolSculpting vs Exilis vs Vanquish
Coolsculpting is a non-invasive body reshaping system that freezes fat cells, using an innovative cooling procedure known as Cyrolipolysis. Cyrolipolysis is a system of controlled heating of adipose (fat) tissue to temperatures that trigger their break-down. Since fat cells freeze faster than normal cells, there is no damage to other tissue. The fat cells are naturally eliminated by the body over the following weeks.
CoolSculpting generally requires 2-3 sessions spaced about 1-2 months apart, to achieve optimal results. CoolSculpting can reduce fat in multiple areas of the body including the abdomen, arms, and thighs.
There is no downtime after the procedure, so you can resume regular activities immediately.
Exilis is a non-invasive body-shaping treatment that uses radio frequency (RF) energy to reduce fat and tighten the skin. It targets fatty deposits in the body, by applying varying depths of heat.
Exilis delivers a consistent flow of energy that is distributed uniformly below the surface of the skin. It targets the deeper layers of fat where the heat causes the fat cells to shrink, contracts skin tissue, and stimulates the production of skin-tightening collagen.
Exilis treatment is relatively comfortable, and takes less than an hour to complete. Four sessions are generally required to get maximum results. Exilis is designed to work better on smaller areas, and can be used on the face and body.
Vanquish is a leading body reshaping device by BTL Aesthetics, which uses radio frequency technology to contour the abdomen and love handles.
Many of the clients that have used Vanquish by BTL have seen some pretty impressive results. Some people have received as much as 1.7 inch reduction in the midsection after a series of Vanquish treatments.
Vanquish uses radio frequency energy to effectively contour the abdomen and love handles. It works by heating up the areas of localized fat to a warm but safe temperature, and this permanently destroys the targeted fat cells, without injuring the surrounding tissues. The radio frequency waves are delivered via 3 adjustable panels that do not require any contact with the skin. It typically takes 4-6 sessions done once per week to achieve the desired results.
Which produces faster results?
Most patients are able to see some measurable results with CoolSculpting about 4 weeks post treatment, but the final effects can take up to 16 weeks. The results take time because of the process of the procedure. After the fat cells die they are slowly eliminated via the body’s lymphatic system, and this can take several weeks.
The results with Exilis are usually seen after 3-4 weeks. However, as new collagen develops in the months following treatment, improvements will continue for up to 6 months.
Vanquish has a larger spot size when compared to other body contouring devices, and this makes it possible to treat the abdomen and love handles simultaneously. Because it creates such a wide field of energy, Vanquish works faster, especially on larger areas.
In some cases, clients have seen results in just 2 weeks after treatment, but not everyone will see results that quickly.
Of all 3 modalities, Vanquish does show results the fastest, but a lot depends on the amount of fat you have to lose.
If you would like to melt away those isolated areas of fat, and get in shape for the holidays, then non-invasive body contouring may be the ideal option for you. The procedures are safe and convenient, and there are no needles, scars, or downtime.
