Nose options besides rhinoplasty?
I am not happy with my nose and I’ve wanted a rhinoplasty for many years, but I can’t afford one. Are there any other, less expensive options to change the shape of my nose? What is the cost?

To make your nose smaller a rhinoplasty is the only option. To improve symmetry or correct specific issues you may be eligible for a non-surgical rhinoplasty using a hyaluronic acid filler. That would start around $500 in most cases. The only way to know for sure is to book a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon near you. Best of luck!

Dear Claire,
Thank you for your clinical
post. This is a common question. A rhinoplasty is a surgical procedure that
modifies the nasal bones, the soft tissue cartilages of the tip, one or both to
result in a permanent improvement in nasofacial balance and proportion. A rhinoplasty involves a general anesthetic
most commonly and significant recovery and downtime. Pre-operative computer imaging with an expert
rhinoplasty surgeon can often relieve a patient’s anxiety about the kind of
outcomes that can be achieved by showing the range of improvements that that surgeon
can deliver.
There are other options, however, for
improving nasofacial balance and proportion.
I have pioneered a procedure called the 5 minute nose job or injection
rhinoplasty. The use of soft tissue
fillers to modify the appearance of the nasal bump or bulbous tip, a crooked
nose, irregularities and indentations as well as inadequate tip projection can
provide a very significant and pleasing improvement in nasal contour without
the risks of a rhinoplasty procedure.
There are very few risks of recovery
associated with an injectable rhinoplasty and to find out more about a 5 minute
nose job or to schedule a consultation, simply visit: https://spamedica.com/cosmetic-plastic-surgery-toronto/facial-cosmetic-surgery/rhinoplasty/5-minute-nose-job-toronto/
I hope this information is of some
assistance and best of luck.

I routinely use fillers to correct imperfections in the nose. We start with a hyaluronic acid filler such as Restylane or Juvederm, then move on to Bellafill as it is permanent. Fillers range from $600 to $1000 per syringe, which is all you would need.
