Breast augmentation recovery
Hi there! I’m a mom of two and both my kids are under the age of four. I really want to get a breast augmentation done as my breasts aren’t what they used to be after birthing and nursing two babies. My only concern and the concern of my family is that the recovery time will interfere with me taking care of my little ones. How long is the recovery and what exactly is involved in it?

Good Afternoon Sherry T. and thank you for your question. Generally speaking with breast surgery you can expect to avoid heavy lifting and exercise for approximately 4 weeks. With little ones this can be a challenge but generally at around their age they are quite accomodating if “mommy has a boo-boo”. As always please be sure to consult with a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon to make sure you safety and aesthetic goals are met.Best of Luck, Dr. K.
